PHN-10 amplifier - rmill777 - 02-18-2023 I have purchased a PHN-10 amplifier and impressed with it's sophistication and quality. I have used with earbuds and can not keep them in my ear. I also have conventional BTE hearing aids installed. I want to connect a feather weight headset to the PHN-10 unit but have to buy an adapter to accept the 3.5mm connectoor on the headset. Suggest a 3.5mm female connector to use with conventional headset. I am 102 years old and am hurt to be listed as a Junior member. I have bought one and have now purchased a second one because the adapter doesn't mate up properly with the headset male 3.5mm pin to get dual ear reception without pushing the male pin in and out until I get a connection. I have 4 lightweight headsets and one of them comes pretty close to working OK. What I was suggesting actually was a female 3.5mm female port on the amplifier itself so you would have the option of using the earbuds or a conventional headset. The earbuds work well and I have attached them to a headband for a makeshift headset, but they are awkward. The Reizen amplifier I have uses just such a connection option and works well. The Reizen amplifier works very well but the quality of your signal seems to be much superior. I am wearing your amplifier now in addition to my conventional BTE hearing aids and can hear almost as good as new. I watched TV last night with your amplifier and my hearing aids was hearing almost as well as when I use my Avantree HT361 TV unit. I love that device as well. It is the 4th Avantree TV listening device I have used.
