Disable volume limiter for hearing impaired - Denis - 09-06-2022 Hi, I have a hearing impairment (otosclerosis). My Avantree Bluetooth transmitter & headphone volume is sometimes too low for me. I have been told that this is because of the internal volume limiter. How do I disable it? Thanks, Denis RE: Disable volume limiter for hearing impaired - AvantreeOfficial - 09-08-2022 Please let us know which model Avantree transmitter / headphones you are using? We can help troubleshoot this issue for you. RE: Disable volume limiter for hearing impaired - Charlie - 09-09-2022 You are right. TV optical output is normally 10DB lower than headphone jack / AUX output. Also if you do not change to PCM, the dolby format is also lower than stereo / PCM format. However, Avantree headphones have volume boost built-in to compensate this issue. Hope this helps. |
