Hi! This is my first post here, and I have the Oasis B Transmitter that I use to use my Sony WH-900N Headphones with my Xbox. I have been using this transmitter for at least a couple of years with my headphones and have been able to get low latency aptX audio with an optical input from my Xbox. Recently I had to repair my headphones with the transmitter and now it seems that only the SBC Bluetooth code is being used... I don't know for sure if it was before the re-pair or if something changed during but I now get slightly distorted and crackly audio. I don't believe it is anything with my headphones as they still have quality audio with any other device/input, and I am using an HDMI audio splitter from my Xbox Series X but I have tested using the passthrough option on the transmitter to go from the splitter to my headphones and I get good quality through that as well. I factory reset the transmitter as well and no change, has my transmitters aptX just gone bad? I will try to find a micro USB that supports charge and synch to update the firmware of the Oasis according to the support section to see if this fixes the issue. I cannot find anything online except "what do the different Bluetooth codes mean" etc. so I was hoping I could get some answers/insight here. Thank you!

Have you checked the setting your Sony headphones? If you have set it to "Priority on stable connection", they may connect with each other with SBC codec. Here is the information i found on the user manual of the headphone https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/whh900n/v...13202.html.
Hi! Thank you so much for your reply! This fixed the issue- and I have also noticed better quality across other devices. I am not sure how it got switched to connection vs quality- but I am very greatful that you found this and it solved my problem
I have been out of town and busy when around the xbox so I just now was able to test it.
