I can understand why the base may flash when it isn't receiving an audio signal (OPT)... but why does it have to flash within a second of the sound going silent.
It's VERY irritating to have the base start flashing in the middle of watching something when the sound goes silent for a second or two.
I'd much rather that the base turned off while receiving a signal... and not flashing until the sound is 'lost' for more than 5 seconds.
Only option I can think off is using electrical tape to block the light at all times.
