Mic boom storage when not in use

I use my Aria Me as music headphones about half the time, so the boom mic is just in the way. I love that it's removable, but there should be a storage nook for it on the charging stand!

Annoyance and opportunity finally overlapped today, so I tore apart the stand and did unspeakable things to it. It's a bit of a trick moving the (inexplicably fragile) wire to the side to open up the middle space, but with some careful application of tape and solder, I think I did a decent job and this shouldn't rip out the wiring when I insert and remove the boom.

Obviously an official storage location would be better, so consider this a request.
