Orbit-C power on always

I'm using an Orbit-C transmitting to a Torpedo to extend audio in areas without wired speakers. We only need it operational intermittently. It seems when the Orbit is powered off it loses connectivity to the Torpedo on power up & needs re-pairing. I don't want to pair each use. Is the solution to keep the Orbit powered always? That's a power suck. Thanks

You do not need to re-pair. All you need to do is to make sure Torpedo is turned on and then find Torpedo from your Orbit screen and click enter. That will connect them.

You do not need to re-pair. All you need to do is to make sure Torpedo is turned on and then find Torpedo from your Orbit screen and click enter. That will connect them.

What Orbit screen? it has led icons no screen to "find Torpedo"

Oh, then your unit is Oasis-C, not Orbit, right? If that's the case, you do not need to re-pair either. You can simply turn on the transmitter and the speaker and wait for 5-10sec. Normally, the speaker will auto-reconnect to its last paired device. If this does not happen, then you can click play button on Torpedo speaker once and it should re-connect.
